Heads of School
 Leavers Ball
The upper sixth (Year 13) boys and girls have chosen to depict their time in Nelson House as a countdown to life beyond school.

"The Final Countdown"

10 Move into and personalise your own study bedroom
9Take on greater responsibility as a prefect, sports captain or team leader
 8

Learn to do your own laundry or cook a meal for friends closing the gap between school and university life

7Living in a mixed community teaches boys and girls the values of tolerance and appreciation of others
6Plan your personal study time with A levels approaching fast
5Make the most of the support and guidance given by tutors and house staff when making important decisions like UCAS applications
4Balance school work with a great social life with themed parties, hog roasts, Saturday night entertainment, Scottish dancing and formal black tie dinners and dances
3Get your head down - it's exam time
2When it's all over, enjoy the last days of school with leavers parties, Speech Day and the Commemoration Service.
1The Summer Ball completes the year with dancing until sunrise followed by a champagne breakfast and tearful farewells. Then step out into the world - it's all yours.
