Raleigh HouseRaleigh House takes pupils who may just be ordinary and turns them into extraordinary young people

Within Raleigh House, there is a strong community spirit fostered by a good work ethic and a sense of pride in everyone’s achievement. Raleigh pupils are encouraged to make the most of every opportunity, nurturing solidarity, loyalty and a sense of purpose in everything they strive to achieve. All this leads to greater fulfillment in the larger community of the School and helps develop confident, caring people for life after the Royal Hospital School. Raleigh House’s unofficial motto is “Work Hard, Play Hard”. We create an environment where each individual can achieve his full potential academically, monitoring progress and rewarding success. We play hard at the weekends and in free time. Last year the House enjoyed trips to Thorpe park, paintballing, Go-karting, and Christmas shopping in Norwich. This balance of work and play leaves the boys enjoying themselves to the full.
