HawkeThe newly refurbished Hawke House provides a superb environment for young people to live and work in and it is a model of how modern boarding should be. I consider myself privileged to be in charge of Hawke and together with my wife Polly and our two daughters look forward to running the house and helping the boys that arrive, (in whatever year) leave as well rounded and capable young men.

The team that exists at Hawke is very experienced and contains all of the elements needed to get the best out of our pupils, both pastorally and academically. Together with Matron and working with the boys, we hope to guide and encourage whilst allowing the individual to emerge confidently.

We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools - Martin Luther King, Jr. Hawke

Through the many activities that the boys participate in comes breadth and individuality. Through their interactions with each other in the house comes a sense of shared experience. Time spent at The Royal Hospital School is rich with opportunity; backed up by superb facilities and a dedicated team of academics, sports teachers, caterers and “behind the scenes” staff.

Against the assault of laughter nothing can stand.
-Mark Twain

I believe that Hawke House will provide support, emotional stability, brotherhood and fun to all those boys who are willing to throw themselves at life here.

Malcolm Jeffrey - Housemaster
