Music forms part of the junior curriculum and is offered as an academic subject at both GCSE and Advanced Level. 

There are three full-time members of staff within the department, augmented by peripatetic staff.  A large number of pupils are regularly and successfully entered for Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music Graded Examinations and it is further testament to our standards that pupils regularly progress to read degrees in music and related subjects.
